Here is another work by artist Colleen Proppé. This one is called "Ascent". I know many of you can relate to the feeling evoked in this painting. This particluar ascent is at one of my favorite places, on Bolinas Ridge road, in Mount Tamalpais State park, in Marin County. If you were to look to the riders right, you'd see a pectacular view of the pacific Ocean. Many of Colleen's painting are for sale, so be sure to go and take a closer look at her other work.

This is another of Mary J. Maxam's paintings. She has graciously allowed us to show, "Waiting to Ride".  Of course we like Mary's work with bike scenes. Colleen Proppé - Colleen is an acomplished artist who lives near San Fransciso, CA. Her art appears widely throughout northern Califirnia. She is talented in not only bicycle scenes, but just about any type of two dimentional media. Some of her scenes, both in nature and city, are familiar to me because I lived near the artist for years, and frequented the same trails and lacales.
